What is it like working at CEC?

We prioritize the well-being and growth of our employees above all else. We believe that investing in our employees' financial future, providing competitive wages, and maintaining reasonable caseload expectations leads to happier employees who provide better client care.

We understand that mental health jobs are demanding and carry a high risk of emotional fatigue and burnout. That's why we embrace our core values of compassion, counselor autonomy, creativity, genuineness, humor, self-care, and acceptance giving our best to each other and to our clients.

We provide clear growth paths for our employees to advance their careers, ensuring they feel valued and supported in their professional journey. At CEC, we recognize that our employees are our leaders, and we strive to cultivate an environment where they can thrive. Our clients depend on us to provide top-notch care, and we know that starts with taking care of our employees.

We have fun and edify one another. We insist that the work environment should be fun, challenging, and inspiring. We only want people with positive attitudes who are ready to invest in their co-workers, their clients, and their communities. Divas have no place here. Our staff meetings are full of laughter, good food, and hanging out.

Join us at CEC and experience the difference in being part of a company that values and invests in you as much as you invest in the client!

Company Framework:

At Colorado Experiential Counseling, we are committed to social responsibility while maintaining the flexibility and responsiveness necessary to meet the unique needs of our community. Unlike many mental health and wellness-focused organizations that rely on public funding, grants, or large donors, our for-profit model allows us to promote creativity and agility in our approach. Unfortunately, many non-profits or government agencies can struggle to provide adequate compensation and benefits for their employees, resulting in low morale and a lack of motivation. We believe that a positive work culture is essential to providing exceptional mental health services to our clients.

That's why we've developed a new way of doing things that prioritizes our people's well-being, encourages innovative decision-making, and promotes creativity, all while remaining a socially-conscious and responsible for-profit business. We believe that by placing our employees' needs at the forefront, we can better serve our community and change the way mental health is approached.

At Colorado Experiential Counseling, you'll find a refreshing approach to mental health and wellness that values creativity and flexibility. Join our team and make a difference in the lives of those in our community!
